Print for Luxury Brands, Boutiques, and Maisons

The materials a client holds in their hand are still the most personal part of the brand. We have been making them, for more than a century, for the houses that care most.

PDC Graphics has been printing for premium and luxury houses for many years. Our work moves quietly through boutiques on Madison Avenue, in Bal Harbour, along Worth Avenue, and across the flagship streets of every major U.S. luxury district. We are the print partner of record for some of the most recognized names in fine watchmaking, jewelry, and leather goods — including multiple Maisons within one of the world’s largest luxury groups — and we work in the way those houses prefer to work: discreetly, precisely, and with the standards held by the brand, not by us.

This page is for the marketing, retail, creative, and procurement leaders who already know what a luxury print program demands. Color that holds across a season and a continent. Stocks and finishes that signal the brand the moment they are touched. Production that runs to the boutique calendar, not the printer’s. Governance that protects the brand across dozens of locations, internal teams, and outside agencies. The work below is what we already do for the houses we serve.

How We Work With Luxury Houses

Luxury print is rarely about volume. It is about the right piece, in the right hand, at the right moment in the client journey — produced to a standard the brand can rely on without supervision. Our role is to absorb the complexity of that work so the brand team can stay focused on the experience itself.

In practice, that means we sit inside the brand’s workflow rather than alongside it. We hold approved stocks, finishes, and color targets on file.

We work directly with creative teams on production-ready specifications and with retail operations on boutique-by-boutique distribution. We manage seasonal launches and one-off VIP pieces with the same care, because in this category they carry the same weight. And we keep the brand’s standards — not industry-average ones — as the reference point for every job that moves through the floor.

A luxury print program is a long, quiet relationship punctuated by short windows where nothing can go wrong. The first half is what makes the second half possible.

A Portfolio Built for the Luxury Floor

The range of work below is shown not as a menu but as the texture of a real luxury print program — the categories we are already producing for the houses we serve.

In-boutique collateral

Hangtags, certificates of authenticity, care cards, gift card carriers, product fact sheets, pricing folios, look-cards, and the small printed objects that complete a purchase. These pieces are produced on the approved stocks, in the approved colors, with the finishing the brand has signed off on — across every boutique, every replenishment cycle.

Clienteling and personal correspondence

Personalized client notes, appointment cards, thank-you correspondence, anniversary and birthday pieces, and the variable-data work that allows a sales associate or boutique manager to send something that feels written, not printed. This is the quiet engine of luxury retention, and the production standard has to match the gesture.

Events, private viewings, and VIP correspondence

Engraved and foil-stamped invitations, programs, place cards, menus, and the on-site printed materials for trunk shows, salon openings, watch and jewelry previews, and private client dinners. Most of this work moves on short timelines, and the finishing — engraving, foil, deckled edges — is non-negotiable to the moment.

Seasonal launches, lookbooks, and press

Lookbooks, catalogs, press kits, seasonal campaign books, brand storybooks, and the bound and unbound editorial pieces that travel with a collection from announcement through boutique. Precision in color and binding is what makes these pieces feel like the brand rather than about the brand.

Boutique signage and in-store environments

Wide-format and short-run signage, window pieces, display graphics, vitrine cards, and the printed elements that turn over inside the boutique on a campaign cadence. Production is coordinated to the boutique calendar and shipped direct to each location.

Stationery and brand correspondence

Letterhead, envelopes, business cards, and stationery systems — engraved or raised-letter — produced to the standard the house has used for generations. For multi-brand groups, the program is run on a per-Maison basis so the identity of each house is fully protected.

Fulfillment, kitting, and direct-to-boutique distribution

Storage of approved materials, kitting for launches and openings, and direct shipment to boutiques, regional offices, and event venues on the brand’s timeline. For multi-location programs this is often the difference between a launch that lands cleanly and one that does not.

Brand-Controlled Web-to-Print, Already in Operation

PDC operates a live web-to-print portal for multiple Maisons within one of the world’s leading luxury groups. The platform is not a product we propose; it is a system that has been processing orders for premium brands every business day for years.

The principle is simple. Corporate marketing and brand teams retain control of templates, approved imagery, color, stocks, finishes, and the catalog of items each location is permitted to order.

Boutique managers, regional teams, and authorized internal users order what they need from a brand-locked storefront — business cards, appointment cards, hangtags, in-store collateral, signage, client correspondence, seasonal campaign elements — within the guardrails the brand has set. Approval workflows, role-based access, audit trails, and per-Maison segregation are standard.

The result is what every multi-boutique brand is trying to achieve at once: corporate marketing holds the standard, the field gets what it needs on time, and nothing off-brand is produced under the brand’s name. For multi-brand groups, the same platform can host each Maison as a distinct, walled storefront with its own identity, controls, and approvers — which is how we currently run it.

Finishing, Materials, and Color

CMYK strip

Luxury print is recognized through the senses before it is read. Weight, texture, light on a foil — these are the cues the brand is judged on. PDC works across the full range of finishing techniques associated with the category and, more importantly, advises on the right one for the piece, the audience, and the moment. The most expensive treatment is not always the right one. Restraint is often the more luxurious answer.

Our production floor is equipped for engraving, raised-letter, foil stamping, embossing and debossing, thermography, die-cutting, edge gilding, edge painting, deckled and beveled edges, specialty coatings, and the binding methods used for editorial and presentation pieces. Color is held to brand-supplied targets across runs, seasons, and boutique geographies; offset is used where consistency at scale matters; short-run and digital are used where personalization and speed do. The right combination is determined by the piece, not by the equipment.

Multi-Brand Governance

For luxury groups that hold multiple houses under a single corporate parent, the print partner has to be able to keep each Maison fully separate while serving them all from a single operation. Brand identities cannot bleed across portals, approvers, stocks, or shipments. Procurement on the corporate side needs visibility; the houses themselves need autonomy.

PDC has built and maintained this model for years. Each Maison runs as its own program — its own portal storefront, its own approvers, its own approved materials, its own color and finishing standards — with consolidated reporting and procurement controls available at the group level when wanted. The houses we serve in this configuration include some of the most identity-protective brands in the world. We have learned how that work is done.

Each house keeps its own standards, its own approvers, and its own identity. The platform keeps them apart while we serve them together

The Houses and Categories We Serve

CMYK strip

Our work concentrates in the categories where print is part of the brand experience itself rather than a supporting function. These include:

  • Fine watchmaking and high jewelry
  • Leather goods, ready-to-wear, and fashion houses
  • Heritage and contemporary luxury retail
  • Premium beauty, fragrance, and personal-care houses
  • Luxury hospitality, private clubs, and members’ organizations
  • Multi-brand luxury groups operating portfolios of Maisons
  • Streetwear and culturally-driven premium brands with collector clienteles

If your brand sits in one of these categories and a printed piece is judged the way the product is judged, we are likely already producing for a house that resembles yours.

How an Engagement Begins

CMYK strip

New work with PDC usually starts with a conversation rather than a proposal. We prefer to understand the brand calendar, the boutique footprint, the existing print categories, and the points in the program where the current setup is creating friction. From there we propose where we can take work on — often beginning with a single category, a single Maison, or a single season — and grow from there as the relationship establishes itself.

This is the pace luxury houses tend to prefer, and it is the pace at which the relationships we are most proud of were built.

To Begin a Conversation

If you are a marketing, creative, retail, or procurement leader at a luxury house, a multi-brand group, or a boutique brand with a discerning clientele, we would welcome a conversation. The fastest way to start is a direct note to our principals — not a quote form. Luxury print programs are built on relationships, and that is how ours begin.
